Tigerfight Foundation
The Tigerfight Foundation is a nonprofit that provides financial support to families caring for a child undergoing treatment for pediatric blood cancer. Every pound of Tiger Chews sold helps make a difference.
Chris Wilson, founder of Tigerfight and son, Ryan, a blood cancer survivor himself, approached the 116-year-old candy company in October 2012 with an amazing idea to create a new taffy chew flavor. The result was one of the sweetest fundraising endeavors ever! They named the new taffy “Tiger Chews” and a portion of each Tiger Chew purchase supports the Tigerfight Foundation and their mission to assist Kern County pediatric blood cancer patients and their families. And, because September is Blood Cancer Awareness month, Dewar’s Candy Shop doubles its donation throughout the month.
